When I first started out online, I really struggled.
Oh man did I ever struggle.
You see, I am stubborn, so I refused to give up, and I refused to acknowledge THE CURSE OF THE GLOW UP!
What is THE CURSE OF THE GLOW UP you ask?
This is when you somehow manage to GLOW UP and suddenly there is a mass exodus of friends and family who desert you and no longer support anything you do.
Instead, they become lurkers who NEVER LIKE YOUR POSTS! They stop reaching out. They stop supporting you. They may even try to vilify you, and make YOU seem like a bad person.
WARNING. THIS HURTS.
However, what I have found over time is that THIS HAPPENS TO EVERYONE WHO GLOWS UP!!!! It is a strange phenomenon but even the most famous of stars HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN.
What I have learned is that when you GLOW some people want to stamp out your shine. It is weird, but it is almost absolute. This is why it is important to steel yourself against haters and losers. Because THEY WILL TRY TO SILENCE YOU WHEN YOU GLOW!
WHAT TO DO WHEN THIS HAPPENS?
The secret is to surround yourself with people who believe in you. Find those between people online who want to watch YOU GLOW! Because some people LOVE to watch others GLOW! I am one of those types of people. It makes me happy and want to party when I see my friends GLOW!
Find people who get excited for you.
Find people who love your GLOW!
FIND PEOPLE WANT TO SEE YOU SUCCEED
Find people who help you to succeed.
Avoid anyone who downs you or tries to stop your progress.
